While you are free to anonymously shop in person at Winooski Organics, you must enter in a phone number, email, and name if you would like to shop online or in person. If you have given us your email address for our newsletter, we possess that information. We consider customer information to be within our highest possible tier of protected & confidential information, so we pledge to never sell your data. It will always only be kept on our encrypted, firewall protected systems.
Why we collect:
Vermont has established harsh advertising guidance, nearly banning all public communications cannabis licensees may make to their customers. In order to reach our audience when we have a new product that we think they’ll be excited about, we have to double opt our customers in, and be doubly sure that our audience is 100% over the age of 21 before communicating with. The purpose of all data collection at Winooski Organics is to enhance our customer experience, whether to ensure they are earning points with our loyalty program, or to give them a jingle when we have their favorite product back in the store. All data is collected only when we achieve affirmative consent to do so— it is strictly forbidden in VT CCB Rule 2 to collect consumer personal information without consent.

We understand what a data breach looks like and what the consequences can be, so we do everything to make sure it doesn’t happen. Our systems are routinely inspected and our credentials are routinely updated to ensure maximum safety of consumer and proprietary data.
